Syntax: AWAY :[message] |
| Without the [message] argument, it will set you as being present/back (e.g., no longer away). With the [message] argument, it will set you as being AWAY. The message you specified will be shown in any WHOIS requests for your nickname. |
Example:> sample.ca.us.darenet.org AWAY :This is my away message! <- :sample.ca.us.darenet.org 306 JohnDoe :You have been marked as being away -> sample.ca.us.darenet.org AWAY <- :sample.ca.us.darenet.org 305 JohnDoe :You are no longer marked as being away |
