Server Commands/ADMIN
Command Help for ADMIN | Commands Listing |
Syntax: ADMIN [server name] |
With no arguments, ADMIN shows information set by the administrator(s) of the server the command was issued on. This information can take any form that will fit into three lines of text, but is usually a list of contacts for the person(s) that run the server.
Network staff may specify a server name as the second argument, which will display the administrative information for that server. |
Example:-> sample.ca.us.darenet.org ADMIN <- :sample.ca.us.darenet.org 256 JohnDoe :Administrative info about sample.ca.us.darenet.org <- :sample.ca.us.darenet.org 257 JohnDoe :DareNET <- :sample.ca.us.darenet.org 258 JohnDoe :Infrastructure Team <- :sample.ca.us.darenet.org 259 JohnDoe :<routing@darenet.org> |
NOTE: All example outputs are shown in raw form, which means they have not been formatted by the IRC client. What is shown by your IRC client may differ slightly. Lines prefixed with '->' indicate input by the user (e.g., the command being issued to the server), while '<-' denotes the reply returned by the server. |
