CLEARMODE removes the given modes from the channel. If the channel is registered or Q-lined, then '''!''' will need to be prepended. On DareNET, IRC Operators do not have access to the '''!''' flag; therefore, it cannot be used on registered channels.

By default, CLEARMODE is disabled for all IRC operators. Instead, OperServ's CLEARMODES command should be used instead. However, it may be enabled for individual operators by a server-side privilege flag through OperServ by a network administrator.
