ircu/NAMES

Shows the names of users with their status on a channel, and the status of the channel itself.

/NAMES [-D] <chan> [<server>]

Parameter <chan> is a comma separated list of one or more channels, with the "-D" or "-d" option hidden users are shown when delayed joins (+D or +d) is set. The <server> parameter can be used to get the replies from another server. The names are listed from youngest to oldest member from the server's point of view.

A user's status on the channel is indicated by a char in front of the nick, a "@" means the user is opped, a "+" means the user is voiced, and a "!" means the user is a zombie. Only one prefix, the highest one, so when a user is both voiced and opped, only a "@" will be shown.

The channel status is indicated by a char in front of the replies, a "=" indicates the channel is public (default), a "*" indicates the channel is private (+p), and a "@" indicates the channel is secret (+s).

All names are shown when being on the channel. When not on the channel and the channel is public, only visible users are shown. When the channel is private (+p) or secret (+s) no names are shown to outsiders.

Special chan "0" (zero) can be used to get the names replies of all channels on the network, including names of visible users not on any channels. When using this on a network of any decent size, this will most likely lead to a disconnection for "Max sendQ exceeded
