Server Commands/OPER
Syntax: OPER [server] <name> [password]
The OPER command allows a user to gain operator privileges on the server/network.
The command requires two arguments to be given if not using a fingerprint. The first argument is the name of the operator, as specified in the configuration file. The second argument is the password for the operator matching the name and host.
If using a fingerprint however, the OPER command only requires one argument which is the name the oper specified.
If the operator's O-line has the "r" flag, then he/she may use the remote form of the command. The server name is that of the server the O-line resides on. This allows the operator to oper from any server on the network.
If the operator's O-line has the "R" flag, then he/she will NOT be able to use the OPER command, and will need to use CHALLENGE instead.
