* Add 2-3 lines about yourself and which translation you are working on in your user page which is at <tt>User:<your login id></tt> (for example, [[User:Swaroop]])
* Add information about the language, your motivation and the link to the [[Python_en:Translations]] page following the format used by others at the top of the page.
* Choose your two-letter shortcode for your language, such as "en" for English and "cn" for Chinese, or something like "nb-no" for Norwegian bokmål translation.
** This means your translation's pages should be prefixed with "Python:<two-letter shortcode>" such as [[Python_en:Preface]] or [[Python_nb-no:Forord]]
* Choose your category in English such as "A Byte of Python in Norwegian" or "A Byte of Python in Chinese".
** This is important because all your pages can be easily located if they are in the same category.
* The basic template of all of your pages should be:
